Take Care of Those Messy Moments with Pledge® Multi Surface Antibacterial Everyday Cleaner

This post is sponsored on behalf of Pledge®. However, as always all opinions and phots are my own. #SCJMessyMoments

When I was a kid, I despised polishing the furniture. It was the chore that I absolutely hated the most! Now, as an adult it is still my least favorite chore. The only difference now is that I get to choose when I clean and what I use to clean.  I very strongly believe in the saying, "Messy Houses means Happy Kids." I am a busy Mom and I wear a lot of different hats. Between working, blogging, volunteering, homework and cooking... cleaning is definitely at the bottom of my list.

When I was growing up, we always used Pledge® Lemon Clean Furniture Spray and it was only for wood surfaces. But over the years Pledge® brand products have evolved and look at all the options that I found at Walmart. Not only can Pledge® be used on Multi Surfaces, but it's also available in other fresh scents and antibacterial.

This is a typical day in my house, my daughter reading a book and a cat sitting on the furniture. As you can imagine, there is always pet dander, dust and messy fingerprints pretty much everywhere. How is a Mom supposed to keep up with it all? A cleaner that can be used in every single room in the house is definitely helpful.

With Pledge Multi Surface I can go from room to room cleaning glass, wood, plastic, and metal all with the Pledge® Multi Surface Antibacterial Everyday Cleaner. So not only am I cleaning, I'm also killing 99.9% of the germs on all of those surfaces. Messy kids are much worse when they are sick, so my best bet is to take care of both.

Can you see the difference? It's a little embarrassing that I was able to find something so covered in dust that it made for such a good "before" picture. But, as I said before I am a busy Mom and sometimes we are too busy having fun and making memories to notice the dust covering up the furniture in the corner.

But life is all about balance, so when we're done having fun and I find a moment to clean, at least I get to use the cleaner that I choose, Pledge® Multi Surface Antibacterial Everyday Cleaner makes me feel good about cleaning when I have to.

Weekend fun: Washing the Car with Daddy #Palmolive25Ways #cbias

What do you use Palmolive for? There are so many different uses, so in our home, it's always on hand and ready to go. One of our favorite ways to use Palmolive is for weekend car washing. My girls don't get to spend much time with their dad during the week, so they really look forward to their weekends together. Besides the weekend pancakes and strawberry milk, my girls love to help their daddy wash the car.
While doing my shopping at Walmart the other day I was surprised to notice all of the options that Palmolive offers. I usually buy the Antibacterial soap, but this time I bought one with a new fresh scent. I wish I had known about the Palmolive baby soap during my baby bottle washing days. I know their brand is about being tough on grease soft on hands, but gentle enough for baby bottles and tough on milk and food residue sounds great. I do not miss the bottle washing days, but this would've been great during those many many washes.
Do you bring a helper with you when you do your shopping? My oldest daughter has been a big helper lately, not only at the store but at home with chores too. Believe me, I can not wait until she can get in the kitchen and help with washing the dishes. 5 is too young right? Yeah, I think, I'll give her a few more years.
I remember helping to wash the car when I was little and I'm so glad that my girls love to get their hands "dirty." I like to sit and watch as they fill the bucket with bubbles and chase each other with the water hose, wet towels and have bubble fights. This is how we spend family time together making memories. Palmolive is hosting a Sweepstakes where you can enter to win a $2,000 Walmart gift card and weekly prizes, the Sweepstakes begins on August 11 so go enter!
Of course finding a coupon is like hitting the jackpot! I found these coupons while shopping at Walmart, you should go check for them.
What do you use Palmolive for? Besides washing dishes and our car, we use it to make bubbles, to help with stains on our clothes, and for cleaning our paintbrushes. A little bit of Palmolive goes a long way and I love that. Looking for some more fun ways to use Palmolive? Let's Make Lunch Fun for Back To School! #MyGoodLife

This shop #MyGoodLife has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.

I thought I had an extra day before the Back to School madness, but I was wrong. My girls start school TOMORROW! I am so glad I called to ask because, we would've been a day late. With my oldest daughter going into all day kindergarten, I am very excited to start packing lunches for her. I knew I wanted to do something fun and different and hopefully make the transition into kindergarten nice and easy. It's all about balance in our lunches, I love for my girls to drink in the goodness with NESTLÉ® JUICY JUICE® and to add a little surprise I thought it would be nice to serve up smiles with a snack size BUTTERFINGER® or NESTLE® CRUNCH®! This is #MyGoodLife!

So here are some of my fun lunch ideas! First of all, I wanted to write my daughter a note. She can't read much yet, so the notes are simple but special. I thought what a better way to surprise her than to wrap the note around her

box. (This way, I know she'll see it for sure!)

I also wanted to add variety. Not just a sandwich and chips. I took a cookie cutter to a slice of cheese and made fun shapes for her to look at before she eats them. Of course, a serving of fruit is a must! Luckily my daughter isn't very picky when it comes to lunches which means I have room to experiment! Stay tuned for more ideas in another post.

I think it's a great idea to add a little treat like a snack size BUTTERFINGER® or NESTLE® CRUNCH®! I know when my girls are at home, I always give them a little sugary snack to help give them a little energy boost. This works for us, hopefully, it'll help with her teacher.

These snack containers are AMAZING! The possibilities are endless!

How fun is this right? Although, I may have set myself up for trouble, because I know if one day I forget a note, I will never hear the end of it.

Of course, I found all of these ingredients at my local

with great deals.

Tell me: What kinds of fun stuff do you do to make the first day of school special?

Easy Big Game Recipes for the Kids! #GolazoKraft #shop

Most days of the week I cook dinner for a very hungry family of six, four adults and two kids. Almost every single dinner that I cook has a protein, starch, and vegetable, with a glass of milk. I am proud to say that I was raised this way and continue this tradition with my family. But times have changed, sometimes we do a family cookout or summer grilling. Occasionally I stray from the traditional menu and even have days where we have breakfast for dinner (this was never allowed when I was growing up.) I am a busy stay at home mom and sometimes I need a break. Sometimes, I need dinner to be easy. On these days, I always reach for my Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. The kids love it, they see it as a treat, and I see it as easy. Sometimes I'll sneak in some chopped up hot dog or steamed broccoli and the plates are always licked clean.
Another tradition that I am proud to say we participate in, is sitting at the table as a family every night for dinner. However, there are some days that call for ease. The days when our eyes are glued to the TV for the Championship Soccer Games, we need something easy and mess free. Something we can eat while completely distracted! So, here it is, a quick, easy and delicious recipe for Kraft's Macaroni & Cheese burrito. #GolazoKraft
Oh yes. This one is so easy to make and really, you can add almost anything to Macaroni & Cheese and have success. I chose to add seasoned ground turkey and then wrapped it up in a burrito. And, what better to pair an easy dinner with than the new clear bottom Capri Sun.
The other day we were lucky enough to catch the Summer Soccer Grilling Event at Walmart while shopping for our ingredients. My girls had fun playing the games and trying samples before shopping. Walmart always has such great deals. This day I picked up the value packs of  both Kraft's Macaroni & Cheese and Capri Sun. More bang for our buck!

Here is a picture of the ingredients I used. I know you probably have most of this stuff on hand, that makes it so much easier. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, Ground Turkey, Taco Seasoning, and Tortillas.
Go ahead and Pin this photo for safe keeping!
Check out this super easy breakdown:
Brown the ground turkey and add the taco seasoning.
Follow the easy steps on the box for Macaroni & Cheese.
Warm a tortilla, then layer the Macaroni & Cheese and Ground Turkey. Wrap and enjoy!
Ooh yeah! I have two very normal girls that are not very adventurous when it comes to trying new foods. This one, they loved!

Check out this Flipagram I posted on my Instagram that shows how easy this recipe is to make.
