This Summer we were invited by DreamWorks and #AlliedContigo for a fun afternoon at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. We were there to celebrate the new show DreamWorks Spirit Riding Free by not only hanging out with some horses, but riding horses and even painting horses. It was definitely a very memorable afternoon. #SpiritRidingFreeRead More
This past weekend I was stuck doing some Spring Cleaning and although I started out listening to music, the only way to keep myself going was to put something good on the TV. If I had never said it here before, I am a huge television fan. After many years of my TV being held hostage by Dora the Explorer and Mickey Mouse, I am happy to say I finally have control over my TV again and I love being able to binge watch whatever I want, while I work late at night.
So as much as I would love to say that I am a proud member of Netflix's Stream Team, currently, I am not. I do however, watch A LOT of Netflix and was pretty excited to hear about the Full House revival, Fuller House. I had read some reviews about the show and it seemed as though either people loved it or hated it. Of course I like to form my own opinion, so I waited for the hype to die down a bit and decided to watch while I cleaned out my closet.
So, here is my review.
I LOVED IT! It was better than I thought it was going to be, it was both cheesy and nostalgic. But my favorite thing about this show is that it was family friendly! I am just dying to find shows that I can watch with my daughters and enjoy on my own too. Some of my favorite memories from when I was a child was watching TV as a family. I remember watching Home Improvement and Fresh Prince of Bel Air with my parents and enjoying family time together, Fuller House is perfect for family time.
I am happy to say that even my husband liked it and it is not often that I can get my husband to watch (and actually enjoy) TV with me. He was surprised at how much he enjoyed watching it, but I think it was mostly because of the nostalgia and ease of watching. We didn't really understand why exactly, but it felt good and it felt familiar.
If you haven't seen it yet, check it out. You might love it or hate it, but either way give it a chance and see which side you're on. You might surprise yourself.
