We Say Hola!

How do you say Hello? We say Hola! I love this new tank and pretty much everything we see over at

Mixed Up Clothing

. Last year we got our first taste of this culturally rich line of kids clothing and if you ask my daughter, she will tell you the

Frida Ruffle Dress

is her favorite. I love that something like a simple white tank can also be so rich in culture.

However you say Hello, Bonjour, Aloha, Jambo, Mixed Up Clothing has just the tank for you. Our world, the world we are raising our children in is more multicultural than ever. I love that our girls will be able to experience such diversity and promote the importance of inclusion while also holding on to and being proud of their own culture. Head over to

So, How do you say Hello?

My beauties dressed in Mixed Up Clothing

The other day I was looking through my Instagram and I stumbled upon Mixed Up Clothing and fell in love! My girls are brown skinned beauties and I love the way bright colors look against their skin. I contacted founder and creative executive of Mixed Up Clothing, Sonia Kang and she provided some samples of her beautiful dresses for my girls to wear and for me to review.

From Mixed Up Clothing's website

Founded in 2010, Mixed Up Clothing is a multi-ethnic children’s clothing line inspired by the textiles, cultures and people of the world, to develop friendships through fabrics.
Mixed Up Clothing is an ethnic-inspired baby/children’s fashion line that celebrates diversity. The textiles, fabrics, and embellishments from all over the world inspire your mini global citizen to embrace and appreciate the beauty of the 21st Century’s Americana family.

So Mixed Up Clothing sent me a few items from their collection for my girls to sample and review just in time for Cinco de Mayo. I kinda died when I saw the picture above of my little Lady. When I take pictures of my girls, I kinda just tell them where to stand and to stay still. Sometimes they smile, sometimes they don't and sometimes I get lucky with a perfect picture.

Lacey is wearing the Frida Ruffle Dress from the Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

This dress is beautiful, the color of the fabric is so bright and vivid with beautiful images of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, phrases in Spanish and... pockets! My daughter was very excited about the pockets and the double ruffle, which helps it spread out a bit. And the fabric is super soft and comfortable, which is always important when putting clothes on your little one.

Lexie is wearing a strappy sundress with a vibrant colored sugar skulls print. This dress is simple but also a great feeling fabric and comfy. And of course, Lexie loves it!

Can you tell how happy she is? This little one loves to wear dresses, but also loves to play. This dress is perfect for looking cute and comfy while playing or swinging.

Just look at all that color! I love it! Mixed Up Clothing has a great line for girls and boys with a great ethnic feeling. Go check them out, their boy shorts, bow ties and shirts are so fly, your little man will look so sharp.

Go follow Mixed Up Clothing on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and then check out their site to see where else you can find them.
