Mickey and the Magical Map #MagicalMeetUp

So, it's been almost a month since I attended a viewing of "Mickey and the Magical Map" and I am still in awe of Disney and Disneyland. Thanks to a heads up from Raised by Culture (who knows all there is to know about events in and around the O.C.) I was able to get myself and a guest (my mom) in to Disneyland for the special viewing. Also, a big Thank You to Disneyland!

My Mom and I had so much fun. We got a lot of sun that day but it was nice spending time with just my mom. No men and no kids! :)

Disneyland hooked us up with a bucket of delicious kettle corn and a drink of choice as a treat during the show.
So let me tell you a bit about the show. It opens with Mickey Mouse as he visits parts of the map where the characters come to life.
The first place they visit is the jungle where we get to meet King Louie.
Next, we get to visit some special ladies from around the map. Pocahontas (which is one of my favorites from when I was a kid) comes out to sing and then hides behind a tree.
as we get to meet Mulan.
And then, my favorite princess Rapunzel joins the group, along with Flynn Rider.
I didn't feel bad about not bringing my girls with me, until Rapunzel came out to sing. Then I didn't feel bad, I felt horrible! I cried... I can't wait to go back and take my girls. Disneyland makes me cry! I become very emotional and the magic really overwhelms me.

The Disney movie that reminds me of my childhood most is The Little Mermaid. When I had the chickenpox, I watched The Little Mermaid over and over and over again. During Mickey and the Magical Map, Sebastian makes a really cool appearance.

Along with men in bubbles!

Oh and there is Stitch!

And the Mouse himself.. Mickey!
But wait, there's more... Hello Tiana!

The show is amazing and so much fun! I definitely recommend that you take a seat and watch it the next time you visit Disneyland, it is so worth it!

Oh! So, they had a raffle for the attendees, and guess who had the first ticket called? My Momma! She won a Sorcerer Mickey watch! She was so excited!

And to top off the fact that we not only got to preview Mickey and the Magical Map, snacks for the show, and a free ticket to Disneyland for the day, they also gave us a yummy krispy treat as another gift. I am in love with Disneyland! I can't wait to go back with my girls later this year. Thanks again Disneyland!
