One of my favorite things to do around Halloween is to fill the month up with as many Halloween themed movies as possible. My girls are still a little young for real scary movies, so family movies it is. Perfect timing for Hotel Transylvania 3 is now available both on Digital and Bluray/DVD. #HotelT3Read More
Whenever we are really super excited about a movie, the first thing my girls say as we walk out of the theater is, "Mom when can we watch it at home?!" Coco was no exception, my girls could not wait for a Coco movie night. Well we've had Coco on digital for a couple of weeks now, but there is just something fun about getting the DVD too.
Thank you to Allied Contigo for the fun crafts and gifts. How cute is this COCO frame? I had so much fun painting it. Yes, I did it. I used it as an excuse to get some quiet craft time in for myself. Although, I think I'll go pick one up for my girls now.
Frames play a key role in Coco. For Día de Muertos frames are used to display photos of loved ones that have passed and are placed on ofrendas.
You can find these cute DIY frames at Toys-R-Us for $12.99. The frame set includes: 1 Wooden Frame, Sticker Sheet, Foam Sticker Sheet, 2 Markers, 6 paints and a paintbrush.
Oh man, I have to say I haven't done something so challenging when it comes to crafting in a really long time. When I opened up this package my mouth dropped, the paint by number that I was thinking of was a lot less intense. But I was up for the challenge. And I have to say I was pretty proud of myself when it was done.
Isn't it so pretty?! I can't wait to hang it up on the wall. My girls kinda loved it too and they were really proud of me.

I am not a parent of a teenager. In fact, some of my worst nightmares involve parenting the teenage versions of my daughters. My little girls already have too much sass and attitude for my taste.
This scene from above is very similar to what goes on every night around bedtime. This is the time when things start to calm down and the kids are at their sweetest and all they want to do is cuddle. And as much as I want to cuddle, I say no because if I do, I'll fall asleep and although it's their bedtime, I still have work to do. That is real life and I love that this show, is real. It makes real life seem bearable because everyone else is going through it too.

*Winner will be chose randomly from the comments below on 9/28!*
If I were to pick a favorite movie of the year so far, it would most definitely be Disney's The Jungle Book. It is an incredible re-imagining of a classic family favorite. The characters, the graphics, the story, the voices, the scenery... everything is just incredible. So, I loved watching it in 3D at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood, but I knew that this would be a definite movie I'd need to add to our movie library. On August 23rd, you can get Disney's The Jungle Book on Digital Download and on August 30th, the Bluray/DVD becomes available.
With all the excitement for the Digital Download and upcoming DVD release I thought I'd share a few viewing party ideas for the upcoming DIsney's The Jungle Book movie nights.
First of all, invite your friends. Friends of all kinds are welcome, man-cubs and animals alike. I asked my girls, "Do you have any Jungle friends?" A few minutes later, our guests arrived. Also, the perfect backdrop for a Jungle Book party, is right outside your door. Just look outside and I bet you'll find a jungle of your own.
First of all, kids aren't all that picky when it comes to party food. I had some Twizzlers on hand, and cups filled with both regular and cinnamon-caramel popcorn. I also made some Honey Comb marshmallow treats drizzled with honey.
Face painting! Have the kids pick their favorite animal and have some fun. I searched pinterest a bit before finding some ideas I liked, but it was pretty quick and painless.
There you go. The Jungle Book viewing party in as easy as 1-2-3. But, don't forget the movie! You can either buy the DVD when it comes out on August 30th or get the Digital Download now available. Or...
How would you like to win a Digital Code card for Disney's The Jungle Book? You know, for your own viewing party. You can use the code to watch The Jungle Book on your TV, tablets or phone- even on the go.
To enter all you have to do is leave me a comment below, telling me who is your favorite character from the movie?

Just yesterday I was telling my husband that I couldn't wait for Disney's Zootopia to come out on DVD. We only saw it one time in the theater and although we've been reading the books here at home, I've been dying to see it again. I can't get enough of the Sloths.. and I love listening to Jason Bateman. But mostly, I loved the strong female character and since I have two little girls at home, I can never have too many strong female characters in our house.
Zootopia is a melting pot where animals from every habitat live side by side and "anyone can be anything." But when new rabbit police officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives in town she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of tough, hulking animals isn't so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack an unsolved, challenging case even if it means working with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery. But the case leads these two unlikely partners to an uneasy conclusion that Zootopia’s "evolved" society is being pulled apart by unseen forces determined to use fear to take control of the city by turning predators and prey against each other.
You can bring home Disney's Zootopia on June 7th. There are many features to look forward to, including candid conversations with filmmakers and artists behind Zootopia, an alternate opening, never-before- seen characters and deleted scenes and a sneak peek at some of the hidden Easter Eggs that make reference to Disney Animation’s most beloved films and characters.
Guess what? I'm giving away a copy of Disney's Zootopia on BluRay/DVD. Enter below!

Did you get a chance to see Disney•Pixar's The Good Dinosaur when it came out last Fall? We were lucky enough to watch it at Disney Studios and just loved it! Honestly, does Disney Pixar ever disappoint? Nope. I laughed and cried and fell in love with a dinosaur named Arlo and a little human named Spot. It is an inspiring tale of confronting and overcoming your fears while discovering who you are.
The Good Dinosaur asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely, and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? In this epic journey into the world of dinosaurs, an apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
Bring home this original story full of humor, heart, action and imagination, perfect for the whole family!
The Good Dinosaur is available February 23rd, or you can enter to win a copy of the Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD below! I can see a movie night in your future! Good luck.

Happy National Popcorn Day! Yup, in case you didn't know January 19th is the day to celebrate your favorite popcorn, by eating your favorite popcorn. Today I am sharing with you my new favorite popcorn, Gas Lamp Popcorn. In full disclosure, I was sent a few bags of popcorn to help facilitate this post, but as always you have my honest opinion. And when I tell you that the Cinnamon Caramel Popcorn is incredibly delicious, I mean it.
Lucky for us, this special delivery of popcorn arrived on the day my in-laws were over for my daughters birthday. We all got to sit and try out three popcorn flavors and not only choose our favorite, but indulge a little bit too.
Oh man! This one was BY FAR my favorite. It isn't just caramel popcorn, but it's cinnamon caramel popcorn and just that slight cinnamon flavor makes the world of a difference. It's like dessert, but a snack. So you can eat the whole bag right? Well, that doesn't exactly make any sense, but once you try it, you will know exactly what I mean.
I know you are dying to try these delicious flavors. Enter below and you could win a big box of Gaslamp Popcorn! Believe me, you want to get this package in the mail. Enter below and Good Luck!

Becoming a Mother really changes everything about you as a person and although you kinda know that it's gonna happen, you never really understand it until you take a step back and look at how much you and your life has changed. When I had my first baby, it was a very different experience than most. I lost my son just a few hours after he was born, we didn't know that he had an inoperable heart condition and so it was something that I was not prepared for at all.
Losing my son changed my life and who I was as a person, but it wasn't until I had my daughter, 14 months later, that I was able to really see myself as a Mother. All I knew was that I was in charge of this little person and responsible for every little thing she needed and that I would give up my own life in a second if that was what she needed. I spent every minute of my day with her and even listened to her sleep on the baby monitor before I would actually fall asleep. It really is amazing how much these little babies change your life.
Now, that my babies are older and a little bit more independent their needs have changed. My days now consist of taking them to Girl Scout meetings, events and just trying to stay active. If there is one way that being Mom has changed me, that is how my babies have changed me, not only do they keep me busy, but I work hard at keeping them busy too. I sacrifice my free time just to keep my babies happy.
believes that even though babies are little, they are powerful agents of change. Babies have a profound impact on our lives and on the world.
My babies have changed me so much. It seems so long ago that I would sleep in on Saturday's and just be lazy all day. Now, I get up early and get my girls ready so we can head out to Home Depot for the kids workshop or spend hours listening to my daughter read books. We are just filling our days and months with memories and I wouldn't change it for anything. My girls give me energy, they are the reason that I want to be a better Mom, Woman, Wife, Friend, Daughter and Sister because I know that I am their role model.
When a baby comes into your life, you want to be a better person for that baby. Babies bring out the best in each of us. They make our lives better and that’s why there’s nothing each of us wouldn’t do to make life better for babies. Pampers has unveiled a new video - The Pampers Better for Baby video- to celebrate the many ways babies bring out the best in all of us. Check it out below:
The video ends with a pledge: “together we can make life #betterforbaby.” Pampers hopes the video inspires people to share what they already do – and what they might begin doing – to make life better for the babies in their lives. Pampers is inviting people to share their pledges using hashtag #betterforbaby. Here's mine:
I pledge to make life #BetterForBaby by being a good role model for my daughters.
Pampers is committed to doing their small part to make life #BetterForBaby by donating millions of diapers each year to families in need through Feeding America and partners with UNICEF to help eliminate maternal and newborn tetanus. Pampers also supports premature babies and their families with special Pampers preemie diapers and other resources via Graham’s Foundation.
