As much as I love eating popcorn or chips, sometimes my tastebuds require something a bit more savvy, something just a bit more complex. Every now and then I have to treat myself too and a meat and cheese platter is a treat that makes me feel like an adult. It's nice to eat something that does not include crackers in the shape of fish. Keep reading to get tips on creating your own Meat and Cheese platter and the chance to enter the #SavvySnackingSweepstakes.
Lorissa’s Kitchen is high in protein, low in carbs, low in fat, has no MSG, no preservatives and is gluten free. See, guilt free snacking right there. Also, along with grass-fed beef, they also use responsibly raised pork. I didn't know how much of a difference that grass-feeding beef could make until I sought it out.
Lorissa's Kitchen is a great example of that, because it's not like other brands, it has more moisture and flavor. Which is a good thing because you don't want something that will break your teeth, you want something that will satisfy you and hold you over until dinner. Is that just me? Lorissa's Kitchen Korean Barbeque also makes a good late night snack.
See how simple a meat and cheese platter can be? I used toast and crackers, thinly sliced apples, creamy swiss and garlic herb cheese, feta cheese and of course three different flavors of Lorissa's Kitchen.
My favorite part of a meat and cheese platter is creating delicious flavor combinations. Lorissa's Kitchen Korean Barbeque beef with some Feta Cheese is incredible.
The other delicious combinations that I discovered is the Lorissa's Kitchen Szechuan Peppercorn beef, feta cheese and a slice of apple and the Lorissa's Kitchen Sweet Chili Pork with creamy Swiss cheese.
