Last Saturday we spent the day at our new favorite place: Knott's Camp Spooky! Oh man we had the best time ever! Of course, I didn't run to a store to buy their costumes, which meant I had to whip up some last minute costumes for my girls so they could participate in the costume parade. I decided to make my oldest Pocahontas and my littlest Ariel, and luckily for me, they loved their homemade costumes.
This is our favorite place to take pictures at Knott's Berry Farm, it is at the entrance to Camp Snoopy, or for the time being, Camp Spooky. The smiles on their faces say it all! They were very very excited.
Knott's Camp Spooky has a lot of fun activities for the kiddos which make the day all that more special. After breakfast at the Grizzly Creek Lodge and before we headed for the rides, we got to make our very own Silly and Lucky potion at the Witch's Potion Parlour, which my girls later drank while I wasn't looking. It's okay, it was just Kool-Aid.
My littlest was so excited to meet up with a friend from her old preschool while we were at Camp Spooky. This friend's family has the season pass and when she heard we were going to be there, she planned on coming out to meet up. How cool right? Just one more reason for us to get the season passes for next year so we could meet up to have fun more often.
There are a few more weekends left for Camp Spooky, so let me tell you about some of the other fun stuff you can look forward to. Like the kid-friendly Mini Monster Maze, the Peanuts Costume Parade, Medusa's Bug Boutique (I was so bummed that we missed this, we love bugs!) and my favorite “The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown,” in the Camp Spooky Theatre. I loved the show and the fun music and left with the Monster Mash stuck in my head.
All I ever want is to see my girls smile and we have found the place where my girls are happy, and it's low stress for me and the husband. To be honest, my favorite part is that it's affordable. The season passes are a must and we've decided that passes will be our Christmas gift for the family.
FYI: Now is the best time to buy your 2015 Season Passes for the lowest price of the year and you get to use it for one 2014 visit. 9 easy payments of $8.50 each for unlimited fun at Knott's, this deal can not be beat.
So tell me, Will I see you there?
