I Challenge you to watch this #ALSicebucketchallenge video!

By now, I'm sure you've seen the viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos. They are everywhere and it's pretty amazing that so many celebrities have gotten involved and are bringing attention to this cause. But how many of you know what ALS is? All I could say is it's also known as Lou Gehrig's disease and it affects the nerves(?) That's about all I knew up until a few months ago.
A few months ago, my husband came home and told me that a friend of his at work was having a bad day, his soon-to-be brother in law was diagnosed with ALS. Of course, they were all devastated but surprisingly positive. This young man, Anthony Carbajal and his sister Vanessa, are amazing photographers who know ALS all too well. Their mother has ALS and they as a family help take care of her day to day.
ALS or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a neurodegenerative disease. Still, it doesn't really click unless you see it first hand. Well, here you go. Here is your chance to see what ALS is, to see the faces of ALS. Don't just watch the celebrities dumping buckets of ice water on their heads, watch this one, and promise me to watch past the 3 minute mark.
