This year marks the third year that we have celebrated Halloween at Knott's Spooky Farm. Our first visit was when Knott's had #CampSpooky and all of the family friendly Halloween activities were only in and around Camp Snoopy. Now, with #KnottsSpookyFarm you can find Halloween fun all throughout Knott's Berry Farm.
Knott's Spooky Farm is open weekends in October and Halloween day from 10 am – 5:30 pm.
Are your kids ready to do some trick or treating? I know my girls could not wait to put on their costumes and fill their bag with some yummy treats. All kids, in and out of costume can visit various stops along Main Street in Ghost Town and trick or treat. You can also see many of Ghost Town's friendly monsters as they come out to play inviting kids to trick-or-treat and stop for a chat. I love the characters in Ghost Town.
New this year you can celebrate the 50th anniversary of the animated classic Peanuts, It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!, with Linus and Sally in Ghost Town with special Halloween themed activities like decorating their very own pumpkin (for a small fee), games and coloring pages.
Also, new this year is a Dia de los Muertos area at Fiesta Village. Knott's has put together a really cool educational exhibit with kid-friendly activities. You'll also find traditional crafts and shops set up and a Calavera or Sugar Skull cookie decorating station available for a small fee.
My girls loved the cookie decorating and not just the eating a giant cookie part. They loved being able to sit down and get artsy for a minute.
Don't forget to check out the Peanuts Gang in The Monsters Are Coming, Charlie Brown at the Camp Spooky Theatre. With three different showtimes throughout the day you have plenty of time to hang around and catch a show. You'll find yourself singing and dancing along to classic Halloween tunes all day. Seriously, the songs are catchy and will be in your head all day long. But, hey that's part of the fun. Oh! And you can't miss the costume contest every day at 3:45 PM. My girls LOVE being a part of the parade, where all the kids in costume can participate while families watch.
This was a fun show inside the Boardwalk Ballroom or The Ghastly Gallery. The kids loved it and couldn't wait to see who the surprise guests were.
Unfortunately, we walked right past the kid-friendly Spooky Hollow Maze in Camp Snoopy, three times! Don't make that same mistake because the kids will love it. It is right past Snoopy's Air Mail.
