Visiting the Hollywood Bowl during the Summer concert series is one of those things you kind of have to experience. Last year was my first visit to the Hollywood Bowl and I could not wait to come back this Summer. To make it an even more amazing experience, we attended the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ - in Concert featuring conductor Justin Freer and the incredible Los Angeles Philharmonic. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is something you need to check out next Summer. Hearing Patrick Doyle’s unforgettable score live-to-picture is... magical.
We had awesome seats this evening. We were right in front of one of the screens and close enough to the stage that we were able to see the live performance. TIP: If you are bringing the kids to one of these shows, try to sit close to one of the screens. It will help to keep their focus. For a kid, being in an outdoor venue like this, they can be very easily distracted.
One of my favorite things about the Hollywood Bowl is being able to share the experience with my girls while enjoying myself at the same time. We packed a cooler with our favorite drinks and snacks and enjoyed sitting outdoors, under the stars, while watching one of our favorite films, listening to the score played live. I couldn't have asked for a better Summer evening.
You still have all Summer to check out an incredible concert experience at the Hollywood Bowl. From Queen Latifah to Juanes to Florence and the Machine to Pink Panther to Star Wars. There is a concert for everyone.
