So let me tell you a little bit about this tiny little movie called, Avengers: Endgame. Yup, they did it. Marvel Studios finally brought this epic, years long story to an end.
I remember watching Iron Man for the first time and I kinda fell in love with the whole "comic book" genre. As time progressed and the years passed, the movies became more and more epic as we met new Avengers and fell in love with their individual stories. And just as we were falling in love with them individually, Marvel decided to go ahead and bring them together to form a team, a family... The Avengers. And, yes, we fell in love all over again.
Over the years, we met new Avengers and chose which side of the Civil War we were on. But of course, we couldn't get too comfortable because before we knew it, the ultimate villain appeared and we fell victim to the Infinity War. Were we not blown away? Left heartbroken and in shock?
And now, here we are in 2019 as fans await the Endgame.
Thank you to Disney Studios for inviting me out to an advanced screening of Avengers: Endgame. I now know how this story ends and I am beyond satisfied. Everyone who watched ahead of me kept saying, "Grab your tissues." But I didn't cry. (And I am such a cry baby) The way that Marvel brought certain characters story line's to an end was enough. I felt that they did the characters justice and at the same time, just like they had in the past as they introduced new characters to the family, they left some stories open-ended, open for possibilities, open to future stories, and I am even more okay with that.
I, of course, will not provide any spoilers because I am not that type of blogger. And, well, to be honest, I don't want to be anywhere near Disney's bad side. Also, can ya'll hurry up and go see Avengers: Endgame, because I AM DYING TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT IT!
Marvel Studios Avengers: Endgame is in theaters everywhere April 26th.
